Program Description:
Experience OrlandoOVERVIEW
Interested in working for some of the largest names in the entertainment industry? The office of Study Abroad and the department of Themed Entertainment are pleased to announce Orlando Themed Entertainment Program: an intensive 8-day course. Accepted students experience the implementation and development of theme parks, resorts, and various aspects of live entertainment with professionals from a variety of backgrounds to include interior design, architecture, production design, dramatic writing, industrial design, theatre, graphic design, 3-D design and illustration. Students will go behind the scenes in workshops and tours led by industry professionals throughout the Orlando area. Accepted students will hone their portfolio presentation skills and have multiple opportunities to interface with professionals through networking opportunities, helping students to understand the breadth of career opportunities within the themed entertainment field.
