Immersion Hong KongOVERVIEW
SCAD Study Abroad with the School of Building Arts is pleased to announce our sixth annual Immersion Hong Kong program! The School of Building Arts’ Immersion Hong Kong program is designed for students who wish to explore the dynamic practice environment, urban landscapes and diverse cultures of one of the world’s truly great international cities. From contemporary architecture that shapes the city’s dramatic skyline to historic structures that define many neighborhoods, Hong Kong is filled with valued landmarks and sites that celebrate a fascinating past and drive an international conversation focused on the future of cities, urban environments and
global practice.

This unique travel study program enables participants to interact with professionals, residents, interns and professors who enjoy sharing perspectives about the building arts in Hong Kong. Through a variety of field trips, discussions and assignments, students will discover ways in which architects and preservationists in this city that bridges cultural, professional and economic boundaries are embracing the future of the building arts.
