Housing & Dining

housing in Lacoste
HOUSING
The housing in Lacoste is rustic, yet comfortable. The residences are constructed from ancient limestone that has been quarried in the Luberon region for centuries. All of the student residences have been restored for student use by on-site preservationists. You may be living in a in a place where villagers stored wine or livestock. SCAD Lacoste is a residency program with housing accommodations ranging in occupancy and located in the upper village and at La Maison Basse complex. No two houses in Lacoste are alike; some residences have double, triple and quadruple occupancy. SCAD Lacoste staff will try to honor your request; however there is no guarantee, especially in the case of students with accommodation requests.

DINING
Meals in Lacoste are included in the program fee and served in dining facilities during common meal times each day. SCAD provides boxed lunches for all classes that involve traveling and missing a meal time.

Documentation of dietary or medical needs must be provided from Counseling and Student Support Services in order for students to be assigned to a residence with cooking facilities. Lacoste’s dining facilities are able to cater to vegetarianism; however, any other meal plan adjustments are difficult or, in some cases, impossible to provide.
